The Mission
With over 30 years of service in public education, Yvette brings a deep well of experience, credibility, and impact to her role as a
leadership coach and consultant. As the Owner and Chief Education Officer of The Acceleration Coach LLC, she provides high-
impact onsite and virtual coaching to school and district leaders, with a focus on improving instructional leadership, school
culture, and student outcomes.
Yvette’s career spans the full spectrum of K–12 education—from middle school teacher to assistant principal (elementary & high
school), principal (middle school), and Associate Superintendent (PreK-12), where she oversaw accountability, curriculum,
assessment, professional learning, and virtual education. She also served as a senior leader in the Office of Academics at the State
Department of Education, where she led major statewide initiatives including:
Implementation of Summer Learning Camps across 146 districts, serving thousands of students.
Design and delivery of a statewide virtual literacy conference, engaging over 850 school leaders and educators (K-12 and EPP).
Her approach to coaching is personalized, strategic, and grounded in research, with a strong emphasis on building trust,
increasing leadership capacity, and fostering sustainable school improvement. She has worked with educators across urban, rural,
and underserved communities and understands the unique challenges leaders face in high-need school systems.
Yvette is:
a Reward School recognized principal and national advocate for high-quality curriculum (#CurriculumMatters).
a Professional Learning Facilitator at the national, state, district, and school levels.
a Board Member of the Leaders Education Foundation and WestTeach Leadership.
a WestStar Leadership Lifetime Member and longtime contributor to community-based education organizations.
an Adjunct Professor at the graduate level in a College of Education, preparing future school leaders.
Yvette is a seasoned, visionary partner in leadership development—one who knows how to meet school leaders where they are and
help them move with purpose toward improved outcomes for all students. She is deeply committed to growth, equity, and
innovation, ensuring that every leader she works with is equipped to positively impact their schools and communities. Celebrated
for her thoughtful approach and results-driven leadership, Yvette continues to shape the future of education, one leader and one

“I have become way more conscious of collaboration and working with my
teammates because of this process and I think that’s what I needed.” – Director
Thank you for all the support you've
provided in my time as a school
administrator. Although, I was not a
novice administrator; you were still
able to provide valuable insight and
coaching into how to best grow and
develop my team. Your passion and
knowledge regarding education and
the growth of leaders makes you the
perfect coach for anyone aspiring to
grow their organization.
- Supervisor of Secondary Learning
Yvette exemplifies what it means to
be a servant leader! Her approach to
leadership focuses on the growth
and well-being of those with whom
she is leading. Rather than simply
managing others, Yvette fosters a
culture of teamwork that builds the
capacity of others through
productive struggle and intentional
coaching. I would not be in a district
leadership role without her!
-Supervisor of Instruction
My coaching sessions with Yvette
have given me a space to process
what is happening in my role and
how I can best respond to the
challenges, opportunities, and
changes within the organization
and my role. I better understand
my ability to be an influential
leader and she has given me
practical strategies for being able
to lead from my role. - Director
She consistently delivers high-
quality work assignments and
consistently maintains the highest
level of integrity. Her focus is
always on what is best for students
and how we can collaborate to
improve student achievement. Her
strong record of success makes her
the idea candidate for leading
school turnaround and
improvement.
-Deputy Superintendent of Schools
Feedback!
She has a wealth of knowledge and an
important level of commitment,
determination, enthusiasm, and energy.
Ms. Blue supported instructional
leadership, implemented job-embedded
professional learning, and coached and
mentored the school leaders and
teachers. This consultation role led to
progress in both academics
and the school’s climate and culture. It
also helped to build capacity in the
school administrative team.
- Deputy Superintendent of Schools
Blue has been an invaluable resource
to me, providing encouragement and
guidance as a leader. She has
helped me establish lasting systems
that ensure accountability within my
staff. I would not be the leader I am
today without Ms. Blue’s expertise
and support. Her program is tailored
and aligned with my needs for
success. -Middle School Principal

Coaching Onsite
When coaching happens onsite, transformation happens
in real time. In-person coaching allows for immediate
relationship-building, classroom observations, and
responsive support that’s embedded in the daily rhythm
of your school. There’s power in physical presence—
whether it’s modeling a strategy shoulder-to-shoulder
with teachers or debriefing a lesson while the experience
is still fresh. If you’re looking for a partner who can walk
the halls with you and coach in context, onsite support
offers unmatched value.
